As one of the most important international auto shows, Beijing Auto Show has gained the respect from global auto makers. Most of global auto makers consider Beijing Auto Show as the platform to show their technology, and release their valuable information. There are at least 10 new cars will debut on Beijing Auto Show, some of them are designed for Chinese market.
New Excelle
New Excelle is the second bomb dropped by Shanghai GM which will revealed on Beijing Auto Show
New Excelle has a bigger grill and front lights, but the frog lights have not changed much.
New Excelle will be powered by a 1.6L or 1.8L common engine, the same engine as CRUZE. As its target market is High-end compact market, New Excelle will compete with VW Sagitar in China auto market. According to original schedule, New Excelle will roll off north amarica line in 2012, but it will be sold in China one year earlier in 2011.
Beijing Hyundai RC
"This car is a A0 class model, internal code 'RC'." Li Feng, deputy General Manager of Beijing Hyundai.
Korean Media released that it will be powered by a 140 housepower 1.6L GDI Motor, and Hyundai might provides its Hybrid model.
New PHAETON
Phaeton is the flagship model of Volkswagen, but didn't sold well in USA, the new Phaeton will lock China as its main target market, and make its debut show on Beijing Auto Show.
New Phaeton will be powered by 3.6L and 4.2L FSI engine.

The SUV market in China is in the mature phrase, Lexus feel the pressure from Audi Q8. This year Lexus will bring RX270 into China SUV market. RX270 will has a 2.7 L engine (probably IAR-FE 2.7L) in China.
