Chongqing Changan Automobile Co Ltd. expects its net profit in the first three-quarters of 2009 to increase 133 to 150 percent year-on-year to 800 million yuan to 860 milillion yuan, it said October 13.
Due to the government’s support, Chongqing Changan had a very strong sales in the domestic market. The automaker’s sales has increased 51.19 percent to 1 million vehicles in the first nine month of 2009. Changan also hopes it would achieve a net profit between 267 million yuan and 327 million yuan in the first three-quarters .
It plans to report its third-quarter financial results on October 30.
