Thousands of angry Chinese protesters took to the streets of Weiyuan in the southwestern Chinese province of Sichuan on Tuesday amid growing popular anger over the leakage of toxic gas from a nearby chemical plant, local residents said.
"[There are] several thousand people [here]," a protester surnamed Hu from Weiyuan county told RFA, adding that the protests were linked to a gas leak at the coking plant, just 800 meters from people's homes.

At 12:24 Mar 31st 2015, Yixing Police received a call which reported that a male falled from the Wenfeng Tower in Longbeishan Forest Park. The man died in Yinxing People's Hospital at 13:50 after all medical measures failed.
According to preliminary investigation, the dead man's name is Jiang Hongliang and he is the Deputy Chief of Wuxi CCP. He jumped off the Wenfeng Tower as he was suffering from depression.

At 16:06 Apr 2nd 2014, a black Chevrolet sedan exploded in the government yard of Wancheng County Hainan China. The driver was sent to the local hospital but died after all medical measures failed.
Wu Hai, A senior executive at leading telecom equipment maker ZTE Corp. has fled amid an investigation into whether he bribed executives at China Unicom, sources with knowledge of the matter say.
Police are looking for Wu Hai, a senior vice president of ZTE and the new CEO of the company's device department. Wu is wanted by corruption investigators at the central government level on suspicions he bribed executives at China Unicom, one of the country's three main telecoms companies.
