Once off-limits to anyone but authorized staff, factory workshops are now turning into high-tech wonderlands for curious young visitors.
Since opening to the public in April 2024, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi's automobile factory in Beijing has attracted over 150,000 people to sign up for visits, with an average of more than 10,000 visitors each month as of the first half of this year.

According to information released by the Harbin Municipal Public Security Bureau in Heilongjiang Province, to crack down on cyber espionage and theft crimes committed by foreign entities against China and safeguard national cybersecurity as well as public safety, the bureau has issued warrants for three suspects affiliated with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA): Katheryn A. Wilson, Robert J. Snelling, and Stephen W. Johnson.

China will soon offer nationwide access to its cross-regional marriage registration service, following a recent revision of the regulations governing marriage registration, the Ministry of Civil Affairs said on Saturday.
Under the new rules, couples will no longer need to register marriages in the location of their hukou, which is permanent household registration. Instead, they will be able to choose a registry office in the habitual residence of either party, removing a significant logistical barrier.
